The school hours are 32.5 hours per week.  8.45am - 3.15pm each day for Primary school children.  Wraparound care is available from 7.30am to 8.45am and 3.15pm until 5.00pm everyday. 

If you have a child who is aged 2 in our PIPS nursery class the school day will run from 8.45am to 3.00pm along with our 3 and 4 year old children in our Nursery class.

Eligible children who have a 15 hour code can attend our PIPS class. The sessions run at the start of the week and the end of the week. For those children who attend the start of the week, children can attend our PIPS nursery on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and then the following week on a Monday and Tuesday.

We also run sessions at the end of the week, where one week children would attend on Thursday and Friday and the following week children would attend on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Sessions run from 8.45pm – 3.00pm and additional sessions can be purchased if required.

Children who attend our School Nursery from the age of 3 will also attend at the start of the week or the end of the week, if the child has a 15 hour code or they can attend all week if they have a 30 hour code. The session will run from 8.45am – 3.00pm.

If you do not have a funding code, extra sessions will be £30.00 per day running from 8.45am - 3.00pm.

Information on Nursery Funding

Universal Government Funded (15) hours, which is available in the term after a child turns 3, can be used and we run sessions at the start of the week and the end of the week based on 2 days one week and 3 days the following week.

Since 2017, the number of Government Funded Hours increased to 30 hours for eligible families. Parents need to apply the term before they wish to access Extended Government Funded Hours. If a child has a 30 hour code they can attend our Nursery all week from 8.45pm – 3.00pm.

Collection arrangements

Parents must inform the school office if the person collecting their child is different from the person who would normally collect them.  If someone does arrive to collect a child that is not on the list of known contacts, children will not be allowed to leave school.  A member of the office team will then telephone parents / carers to obtain permission for their child to leave school.
