Orchard Fields Community School’s Governing Body is looking to

appoint an Early Years Nursery teacher from January / February 2025

 on a Two-Year Fixed Term Contract.

Orchard Fields Community School is an Oxfordshire County Council maintained two-form entry non-denominational school in Banbury. We were graded ‘Good’ with an Outstanding Early Years and for the Welfare of our pupils for our last Ofsted inspection in February 2019 and are actively working towards achieving outstanding in all areas for our next Ofsted inspection.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to work in one of our Nursery classes; some experience in an Early Years setting is essential and in a Nursery would be advantageous.  We are looking for someone who is able to plan a stimulating, challenging and fun personalised curriculum. Salary: Grade 4 – Grade 5   with pay ranging from £23, 500 Pro Rata depending on experience.  Actual Salary for 30 hours worked over 38 weeks is £15,763.

Hours: 8.45am – 1.00pm (Includes half an hour unpaid lunch break) – 1.00pm – 3.15pm

Contract type: 5 hours per week, 12 noon - 1pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £11.59 per hour (increasing to £12.26 in December)

We require a reliable assistant to supervise our children during their lunchtime.  Your role will be to ensure the well-being and safety of the children whilst eating their lunch and during indoor and outdoor playtimes. The successful applicant will ideally have experience of working within a school setting.
